Armand Traore fails fitness test at QPR

Rumours coming out of QPR is that Armand Traore has failed a fitness test.

The main reason for this is because I’ve heard that the fitness test involves a defensive test where QPR place a winger in front of you with the ball at his feet, and the objective is to win the ball at least once from 37 attempted runs.

Great news for QPR fans if it’s true.

Why would anyone on earth actually want Traore? Did Neil Warnock lose a bet? Or he just needs a player to be an example to the rest of the team of how not to play football?

    hahahahaaha

As crap as he was yesterday, we can’t let him leave as the squads too thin as it is. If he does go then I assume Wenger wouldn’t leave us with one LB, and seeing as he wants to bring in only one defender, that means no more CBs!. I’d love to know where he gets this ‘our squad is too big’ idea…

Warnock should please also come for Djorou. He will do well in the QPR reserves. Wengers youth programme has failed

  5. shekssss

Looooool… But we have to remember he is a left winger not a left back.. But damn,

i really dont get this sale. do we have a left back lined up to replace him? Pedro Bothelo? or someone else. Gibbs is injured so much and with sagna and vermalean picking up injurys also and now jenkinson suspended albeit for one game why sell and the only availble full back in your team at the moment. i can only think he has a left back lined up. even if we sign cahill we will be short. i dont get wenegr sometimes. i really don’t. i was really looking forward to this transfer window. i was hoping we would get rid of the dead wood and i new fab4 would leave but was expecting us to rebuild and really make a push. but i should have known better.

Jenkinson is a p*ss poor player, Traore too, Djourou too, Gibbs too, Chamakh too, .. Even with them replaced with players in their positions we are still short of quality depth.

  8. The Cabbie

Having played all my playing time as a left back I am ready to answer the call for Arsenal .Capt of all my teams (4 ) I think I can still improve our current squad , AW I am ready.
PS I hope my age 66 is not seen as a problem

  9. @The Cabbie, you couldn’t be any worse than Traore to be fair. Get your boots on 🙂

  10. The Arsenal Board are happy to take our money for tickets and merchandise but are not willing to spend some money on players. Time we started boycotting games until they start spending some money on players. You can help save our team by doing one of the following: Boycott future games until we spend 70 Million on new players or Bring a red card with you to the games! Lets show the red card to Wenger and the Board

Traore failed the medical as he twisted his neck watching ManU players running past him yestaerday

To all the haters – maybe Warnock wants Traore as a left winger, you know his actual position!
He’s not good enough for us there, but a team like QPR he could do a decent job.
Least we may buy another LB now….

  13. Haven’t seen anything on the Arsenal site about Traore leaving so until there is an announcement everyone here is suffering from premature speculation!

  14. Alf

Can you take pills or use some cream to stop premature speculation?

  15. pitstop

Djourou? Hair colored like a donkey, played like one too. An international at that too.

  16. pitstop

Traore would not even make it as a ball boy.

  17. Peter

QPR have a strict fitness regime and don’t take risks.
Very possible this is true and Warnock would have been very interested because Traore can play all down the left side not just LB. when your fighting relegation and cant bring in 10-12 players you need versatility.

  18. andre santos is coming to the club he’s a starter for brazil and they are not short of good full backs that will be a decent sign plus he is 28 so he will bring experinxe

  19. I can see QPR being higher in the league than the shoddy Arsenal this year for sure.
I think Arsenal maybe fighting relegation from what i have seen in their games so far.
They are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo rubbish and cannot see where they will improve. Arshavin looks as though he hates it there.

  20. Goonerpower

Haha he is a total crock of Shite. These are bad times at the moment. I feel numb. I will never stop supporting Arsenal, I couldn’t even if I wanted to.

I hope the deal for Per Mertz goes through or even Cahill or even Samba or FUCKING ANYONE!!!

Scott, I have to say, I’m losing my faith in the managemen/board with this current situation. Something has change

  21. @Goonerpower, there are a lot of rumours coming out of Arsenal about lots of late transfer deals and I wouldn’t be surprised to see 3-4 new faces. Have faith, and hang on in there until midnight tomorrow.

  22. Jayswag

What cracks me up is dt Traore has a defensive abilty rating of about 83 or so on Pro Evolution Soccer(PES) 2011 on Playstation 3…. Buhahahahahahahahaha… Somebody needs to dell dem Japanese programmers or whoeva is in charge to quit watchn d back of der TV or take of der Rayban shades while analyzing players

  23. Goonerpower

@Scott 🙂 your not wrong there. Let’s see how these potential signings do. Really hope mertz comes. Been banging the drum for a while about him.
